The American Subcontractors Association of the Bay Area is a non-profit membership organization committed to promoting Federal and State legislative advocacy for Subcontractors and Suppliers. Our Mission is building strong trade contractors and suppliers through education, networking and advocacy.
HISTORY
The American Subcontractors Association was founded in 1966 in Washington, D.C., whose founders saw a need for an organization that could bring together subcontractors of all trades and suppliers to address common business needs. Today there are more than 2,500 member companies throughout the United States, all who benefit from the advocacy, education and networking that ASA national, state and local chapters offer to its members. In 1989 the Bay Area Chapter of ASA was formed to support, offer resources in education and networking, and represent a large and ever-growing population of subcontractors and suppliers in the Bay Area.
